Carly Goodfellow, MA, RCC
Clinic Co-Director
Carly Goodfellow - Registered Clinical Counsellor, Certified Counselling Hypnotherapist
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist in Vancouver, BC. I work with couples and families who are struggling to resolve conflicts in their relationships and individuals who want to break out of worry and anxiety, feel more vitality and improve their quality of life.
I love working with couples because I can see right before my eyes, broken hearts get mended and lives get back on track. It is a privilege to be let into my client's relationship where I can provide a new set of eyes and unbiased perspective to help couples see, explore and mend what initially felt irreparable. It is a process that takes commitment and work but the rewards are immense for those willing to take this journey.
As a trained psychotherapist, I understand the complicated attachment and early trauma issues that can make relationships particularly difficult. I work compassionately with individuals to heal these early developmental wounds by making changes in how they relate today. I am honoured to help my clients access the 'healing relationship' where old, unmet relationship needs can emerge and get the validation they have been waiting and longing for.
To enable me to be effective as a relationship therapist, I have undergone training in Imago Relationship Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Relational Therapy and Bader-Pearson Developmental Relationship Theory. I also hold a Masters Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am passionate about ongoing training and supervision to keep up to date with the latest research into the best practice for couples counselling. My desire to help people live happier lives has led me to become focused on helping relationships heal and become a safe, sanctuary where unmet relational needs can finally come to fruition.

"I love working with couples because I can see, right before my eyes, broken hearts get mended and my client's lives get back on track"
