🟢  Jennifer Harrison is currently accepting new clients!

I'm a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC #2577) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT) and a specialist in working with individuals and couples experiencing trauma or anxiety.  I work with individuals and couples in Vancouver who are struggling to communicate, are wanting more connection and openness in their relationships, or are simply wanting to learn how to cope with and heal their anxiety.

As an in-person couples / marriage counsellor at my office in Vancouver, I help support and encourage communication, connection, and fulfillment between you both.  I utilize a range of tools helping couples of all types and backgrounds, teaching you effective dialogue, and promoting healthy cohabitation that stimulates new growth and exciting developments in your relationship evolution.

I understand how your life can be chaotic and how you can feel alone in that, especially if you suffer from anxiety. I will meet you with an open heart and help you feel comfortable and cared for.  I will treat you with compassion when you are feeling tender, and help you see your situation from a gentler viewpoint in order to find your way out of negative thought patterns and anxiety.

My approach to therapy centres around the belief that there are no lost causes.

You have a story that deserves to be heard, and I create a non-judgmental, safe environment in which to tell your story.  I truly love the moments when I see people move through crisis in order to connect with themselves and their loved ones in a meaningful way.

I come from a background in business and have also spent the past 20 years volunteering with children, youth and families, helping them learn skills and find joy in the face of illness and loss.

Jennifer

"The most important thing I have learned working with children, couples and families is that there are many different kinds of relationships and every one of them deserves a chance."
